JPM Community Care Services Ltd are primarily concerned with ensuring that the highest standards of individual care is provided for each service user. The standards used by the company are based on Dignity, Choice, Privacy, Safety, realising potential and recognising equality, diversity and patience.
Clients rights are as follows:
- The right to be treated with dignity at all times
- The right to enjoy a full range of social activities by mixing with other people in the community
- The right to make informed choices, while recognising the rights of other people to do the same; to understand all the choices and options and to choose the one that is right for you
- The right to have your privacy and property respected and to receive the time, the space and the facilities you need and want
- The right to be protected from abuse and exploitation
- The right to feel safe and secure in all aspects of life, including health and well being but not to be overprotected
- The right to personal independence including the right to care for oneself
- The right to have political, cultural, religious and emotional needs respected
- The right to information and consultation on decisions affecting your welfare, including daily living and to participate in any discussions on proposed changes
- The right to full information on the complaints procedure and to be represented by relatives, friends or advocate if you so wish
- The right to be treated with equity and fairness
- The right to have the opportunity to develop talents, to make full use of resources available and to make the most of life
- The right to expect staff to have the appropriate skills.
