Staff & Training

PM Community Care Services directly employs a Managing Director and 2 Directors, there is an Associate Director of Care and an Associate Director of Finance. There are Supervisors in each region covered by the service, Senior Care/Support Workers and Home Care/Support workers. Currently JPM Community Care Services employs approximately 70 staff.

Our staff are carefully screened and two references are always requested and checked thoroughly. During induction our care staff have to complete the following training:

  • Record Keeping
  • Health & Safety
  • Infection Control
  • Adult Support & Protection
  • Professional Boundaries
  • Dementia Awareness
  • Medication Guidelines

All staff have been issued with a SSSC Code of Practice handbook. All staff sign a document agreeing to follow the SSSC Code of Practice and this is kept on their personal files. The SSSC Code of Practice is now part of JPM Community Care Service’s policy and procedures.

The company is committed to staff training and its standard is recognised by the Investors in People Award. In 2012 JPM Community Care Services received a Bronze Award from Investors in People.
