Housing Support Service

  1. This service will be available to older people living in the wider community.
  2. The service will notify service users of on site staffing arrangements, on call arrangements and of any changes.
  3. The service will only notify service users of the conditions of registration, the name of the registered service and the Care Inspectorate contact details.
  4. The Care Inspectorate requires to be notified if the numbers of staff increase or decrease by 10%.
  5. The service must notify the Care Inspectorate if there is a change in the number and/or location of staff teams as specified in the notice granted registration.

Support Service

  1. Burnfoot Hall Retirement Village will provide a support service (care at home) to people living in their own homes and a community based support service (day care) to a maximum of 42 people 7 days per week in four locations as follows:
    1. A maximum of 30 older people at Burnfoot Hall.
    2. A maximum of 4 older people at Westfield Care Home.
    3. A maximum of 4 older people at Lydiafield Care Home.
    4. A maximum of 4 adults with mental health problems at Burnfoot Coach House.
  2. To comply with the current staffing schedule attached dated 16 January 2008 which must be displayed together with the certificate.
  3. Staff support will be available to service users over a 24 hour period of care at home.
  4. The service shall be available to older people, adults with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and mental health problems.
  5. The service will notify service users of the conditions of registration, the name of the registered service and the Care Inspectorate contact details.
  6. Staff will not use a service user’s home as an office base or as venue for supervision/appraisal or other staff meetings.
  7. The service must notify the Care Inspectorate if there is a change in the number and/or location of staff teams as specified in the notice granting registration.
  8. The service user must be able to remain living in their home whilst choosing to receive their care at home service from this or another provider.
