Closure Strategy

In the unlikely event of the Company ceasing to operate, the service user will be our main priority. The Care Inspectorate and Social Work Department will be contacted immediately so that alternative accommodation can be found for each individual service user.

The service user will be able to view alternative accommodation and choose where he/she wants to move to. The service user will be fully supported by the care staff. The service user will be involved in the discussions about, and the planning of his/her move. The move will involve the least amount of risk and disruption to the service user. The service user’s records will be passed on quickly to their new home. The service user’s records will be complete and up-to-date, and will have been put together with the involvement and agreement of the service user.
